Why don’t more adult women wear knee socks with skirts?

If I have a longer skirt on, like ankle length, then I will sometimes where trouser socks. But not with anything shorter. It looks like a fetish to me if the skirt is short and knee socks are worn.

I love knee socks they are soo hot. I really like when they wear boots and the socks just barely come out past the boot! SEXY!!

Well i wouldn’t mind wearing them but I’ll have to be wearing the right skirt. Knee length socks dont go with everything.
If I remember correctly, the last time i wore knee length socks was about 4 years when i used to play football!

Im not an adult woman yet .. but at my school everybody wears a cute skirt (short) and knee lenth socks and it looks really good!!

Couple of reasons…..lack of self confidence and gullibility. They want to try the look, but are afraid, or worried because some idiot who knows nothing told them ‘if more than X years old, never wear kneesocks’. Why they assign some of the knowitalls such credibility is beyond me. The manufacturers of socks don’t help either…..finding kneesocks is almost impossible. What are frequently sold as kneesocks have no cuff and are 2 or 3 inches too short. That makes the woman look too tall for the socks, the ‘adult in chidren’s clothing’ look that adults want to avoid.
Also, few women want to be the first to try the look, even if they did manage to find real kneesocks. What we need is for some well known woman be the trendsetter and then the rest will realize its okay. Imagine the result if someone like Alaska Gov Palin wore white kneeesocks with one of her black just above the knee skirts she usually has…….every step that girl takes is already in front of a camera…she could really be an example. Just the way so many gals are getting those squared rimless glasses that Sarah has. I think most of the gals out there just need a nudge. LSG

I think knee highs and a mini are so sexy looking. I wear this combo all the time and the guys can’t keep their eyes off of me. Go for it girl.
