I believe men use to wear these special kind of garters to hold their knee-high socks up. Leg warmers shouldn’t be a problem. Knee high socks, they might not have enough elastic or you might be stretching them.

get a smaller size? but make sure to keep them loose enough because they look cuter that way.
you could try shrinking them in the washer/dryer

Yes, use those things that long hair people use for a pony tail. Not the plain rubber bands though.

use tiny rubber bands

Well you know the tape that you use on your dresses to stop the “revealing” part of your chest you use that tape on your knee high socks or leg warmers. They are completely invisible and they don’t hurt or bother me. Don’t use double-sided tape! When you try to take it off it’s likely to rip off your skin!! Nah it just really really hurts! With the fashion tape you can just gently peel it off.

use tape on top and bottom

as with what most have said, double sided tape or the clothing tape would probably be your best bet. or cut them up and re-sew them to fit better. i do that with most of my clothes that are too big.

if you are handy with sewing-buy some elastic thread and sew it into the top band that should be staying up-a few rows around-Id do it by hand-just a running stitch. Try folding over the top Try putting a softer elastic hair scruncie type thinga flat one over th etop band and fold over it. Buy smaller ones Try a better brand of sock that has a fair amt of spandex or rubber in it.

Well the trick for leg warmers is to put it over fitted / can stay up for hours knee-high socks.
I think you have to do a little shopping.
trust me, tape doesn’t work and it can be painful when taking it off. I discovered that when i was in 6th grade.

Knitting elastic. Thread it through the ribbing of your socks and leg warmers using a needle.you should be able to buy it at any haberdashery store. It just reinforces the elastic already in those garments.
